The legal bits, and what the law needs.

  • At least one month. We lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage with me, and the wedding can happen any time from one month to 18 months after that. If your date is closer than that, ring me and we’ll talk about what’s possible.

  • Two, and they must be over 18. They can be your kids if they’re old enough, your parents, or the people at the next table if you’re eloping.

  • Yes, there are legal words every couple in Australia says. I say my bit, you say yours, and everything else is up to us.

  • Your birth certificates or passports, photo ID, and if either of you has been married before, proof that it ended. I’ll send you the exact list once you book.

  • Tell me your date and I'll tell you if I'm free.
