Niamh Dillon, Adelaide marriage celebrant, standing with a newly married couple on a timber deck under gum trees

Hi, I am Niamh. Irish born, and calling beautiful Adelaide home since 2014.

In 2017, I married my husband, Troy, in a traditional Irish wedding in Ireland, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. That day showed me what a ceremony can mean when it is really about the couple, and it planted the seed for a future I had not yet imagined.

I became a registered marriage celebrant in 2021, driven by a deep love of storytelling and a desire to help couples create personal, memorable moments that truly reflect who they are. Whether it is heartfelt, lighthearted or something in between, I believe every ceremony should feel like you.

These days, Troy and I are raising two amazing boys, aged 10 and 13. Our family is rounded out by Bonnie, our lively Kelpie rescue pup, who brings endless energy and plenty of joy to our home.

I cannot wait to hear your story and help you tell it, your way.

Why Avoca

Named after the town of Avoca in County Wicklow, Ireland, where two rivers meet and flow together as one.

Just like those waters, marriage is the coming together of two lives, two paths joining, growing stronger as they move forward side by side.

At Avoca Weddings, I create ceremonies that honour that moment, where everything aligns, and your journey together begins.

Registered since 2021

Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant. The legal paperwork is my job, not yours, and it is lodged properly every time.

Irish, and local

Irish by birth, Adelaide by choice. So yes, there will be a story in it and probably a laugh. Ceremonies across Adelaide, the Hills, McLaren Vale and the Barossa.
